The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks in Engineering Department.
The position is based in Pistoia or Napoli - IT.

/ph3Accountabilities /h3ulliPlan, monitor and coordinate engineering activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from bid phase to final delivery, including product design, verification and validation /liliCoordinate project teams across different engineering disciplines to ensure compliance with input requirements, applicable regulation and standards, and assigned budget, schedule, and quality targets /liliPrepare project documentation (both during bid and execution phase), including technical proposals, engineering plans, design review reports, etc.
/liliDuring bid phase, prepare and maintain the Product Data Sheet (PDS), to allow the Quotation Manager to collect and consolidate the industrial product cost to be provided to the Bid Manager /liliEnsure the submission of System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) for supplier engagement /liliSupported by the Requirements Engineer, ensure requirements management throughout the entire project lifecycle, from bid phase to final delivery, by properly maintaining the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), duly tracing requirements compliance, alongside verification and validation evidences /liliAct as the primary technical interface with the customer, ensuring the collection delivery of project documentation (duly prepared and verified by relevant WPLs) /liliManage and conduct design reviews (both internal and with customers) for the assigned bid/project,



under the supervision of relevant line manager /liliMonitor and report project progress and performances, as well as technical risks and opportunities, sharing them with the Project Manager and promptly escalating when necessary /liliManage and track project KPI and open items by means of defined templates/dashboards /liliEffectively liaise with other departments (Project Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Industrialization, Quality, Certification Safety, etc.) to ensure the successful delivery of the assigned bid/project /liliAssess the technical impact of customer changes/VOs and support the change process /liliManage non-conformances in line with internal processes and procedures /liliEnsure the submission of all relevant manuals, documentation, training to the customer /liliSupported by the Certification Manager and the Project Validation Manager, define the certification strategy and the validation strategy of the project /liliCoordinate testing activities with relevant departments to ensure appropriate verification and validation /liliSupport the homologation phase by actively coordinating the preparation of the documentation required for vehicle approval /liliEnsure that engineering changes, project requirements, and project configuration are properly managed throughout the project lifecycle, in compliance with company processes /li /ulh3Required Skills/ Knowledge /h3ulliExperience (3-5 years) in the Railway sector or in complex industrial environments /liliGood knowledge of main railway regulations and standards /liliGood knowledge of IBM DOORS requirements management tool /liliGood knowledge of engineering processes and railway operations /liliGood knowledge of system engineering and requirements management disciplines /liliGood knowledge of RAMS principles and processes /liliGood knowledge of design verification and validation methodologies /liliGood knowledge of main vehicle architectures and functions /liliGood knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering disciplines /liliGood knowledge of office automation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) /liliAbility to coordinate multiple functional teams across different engineering disciplines throughout complex project lifecycles /liliAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, international and multicultural environment /liliStrong organizational skills, alongside team-working,



problem-solving and results-driven mindset /liliAbility to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers, partners, customers) /liliAbility to work within project teams under minimal supervision /liliAvailability for occasional short-term national and international business trips /li /ulh3Desired Skills/ Knowledge /h3ulliKnowledge of electrical/mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Creo, Catia, etc.) /liliFast learner with strong willingness to stay up to date with technological developments /liliGood business acumen combined with solid technical skills /liliGood communication and interpersonal skills /li /ulh3Education / Qualifications /h3pMaster's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or equivalent preferred).
/ph3Languages /h3pKnowledge of written and spoken English (at least B2 level).
