/li /ul /brh3A qualified candidate must possess the following: /h3 /brul /brlibPossess a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree /b, i.e., Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), obtained at a school or college of veterinary medicine accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (AVMA).
/li /brlibPossess a valid unrestricted state license to practice veterinary medicine /b (may be a valid state license from any US state).
/li /brlibOfficial transcripts must be provided prior to time of hire.
/b Unofficial college/university transcripts may be uploaded for initial qualification screening /li /br /ul /brh3In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": /h3 /brul /brliPossess active United States Department of Agriculture/ Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA/APHIS) accreditation.
/li /br /ul /brh3Physical Requirement: /h3 /brul /brliAbility to lift 45 lbs and long periods of standing, walking, restraining, kneeling, reaching and sitting, etc.
/li /brliMust have use of fingers; Both hand and both legs are required; Position requires exposure to intermittent excessive noise.
