Join Our Team as Executive Chef
Are you a passionate culinary leader with a commitment to excellence, innovation, and team development? We are seeking a hands-on Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations, including restaurants, banquets, and employee dining. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can inspire a team, maintain exceptional food quality, and drive operational success while creating memorable dining experiences for our members and guests.
What You'll Do
As Executive Chef, you will oversee all phases of food operations, including receiving, storage, preparation, production, service, and sanitation. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, food safety, and cost control while serving as a mentor and leader to the culinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all kitchen operations, including restaurants, banquets, and employee dining.
- Direct, train, coach, and mentor Sous Chefs and culinary staff.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented according to established standards and specifications.
- Develop employee schedules based on business levels and forecasting.
- Manage food and labor costs to meet departmental goals and financial objectives.
- Participate in menu development, pricing, presentations, and special event planning.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, and support culinary team members.
- Address employee concerns and administer corrective action when appropriate.
- Attend Food & Beverage, safety, and leadership meetings.
- Collaborate with management to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Culinary degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience in a hotel, resort, country club, or related hospitality environment.
