We're a high-growth staffing agency, and we're hiring an Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of client relationships while driving successful hiring outcomes across technical searches — engineering, AI, and specialized technical roles.
In this role, you will act as:
- A strategic hiring partner to founders and technical hiring leaders (CTOs, VPs of Engineering, technical founders)
- A commercial owner focused on account growth and retention
- A trusted point of contact ensuring successful technical placements and client satisfaction
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong relationship-building skills, commercial instincts, and operational thinking within a technical staffing or technical recruiting environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Placements & Hiring Success
You will oversee hiring activity across your accounts to ensure strong delivery and successful placements.
- Leading scoping calls and intake conversations, and assisting sales calls, to translate technical requirements into actionable search criteria and support new business conversations
- Aligning hiring priorities with budgets and business goals
- Ensuring hiring processes move quickly and efficiently
- Monitoring active technical searches and placement progress
- Managing client communication throughout the hiring lifecycle
- Supporting offer, closing, and onboarding coordination
- Acting as the escalation point for complex client situations
Client Retention & Growth
You will own the overall health, retention, and expansion of your client portfolio.
- Driving account growth through upsells and additional technical hiring opportunities
- Maintaining strong client relationships and long-term retention
- Identifying risks early and proactively managing
