Overview
In this role you will shape the strategy for Property & Multinational risks in the Italian market and align local activity with the Group's objectives. You'll partner with the Property Team to drive local performance, support new product initiatives, and manage key broker relationships. The position combines portfolio stewardship, cross-functional collaboration, and market analysis to deliver profitable underwriting and growth. You will operate in an international context with a focus on governance, pricing, and risk assessment.
Responsabilità
Ensure underwriting authority, pricing, and rating guidelines are followed
Steer local portfolio in collaboration with Head of Property to hit financial targets
Liaise with functional areas to review end-to-end underwriting performance
Collaborate with Sales, Risk Consulting, Claims and other product lines to support marketing and cross-selling
Maintain underwriting consistency and adherence to corporate governance, authority levels, and regulatory framework
Support development and implementation of new or modified products

Assist in acquiring new business and retaining existing business (including agent/broker negotiations)
Communicate local business strategy externally
Requisiti fondamentali
Degree in Engineering or Economics or Law or equivalent
At least 3 years of proven underwriting experience in Property for Corporate Clients (PD/BI and Theft)
Experience with Multinational clients and knowledge in Liability is a plus
Expertise in risk assessment and policy administration life cycle
Strong pricing knowledge and market analysis skills
Experience in designing, developing, and implementing consistent policy wordings is desirable
Experience in leading underwriting projects is desirable
Entrepreneurial mindset
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in an international organization
Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
Very good knowledge of Office 365 and collaborative tools
