Job Summary
As a Transportation Operations professional at , Inc., you will be instrumental in optimizing and executing our logistics network,
ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods across our vast operations. You will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction through effective transportation management.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor transportation plans and strategies to optimize delivery routes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Manage daily transportation operations, including carrier selection, load planning, dispatching, and tracking of shipments.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., warehousing, supply chain, customer service) to ensure seamless logistics execution and resolve operational issues.
- Analyze transportation data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Negotiate with carriers and logistics providers to secure favorable rates and service agreements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software to manage and track shipments effectively.
- Prepare and present reports on transportation performance, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and disruptions in the transportation network.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in transportation operations, logistics, or a related role, preferably within a large-scale e-commerce or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of transportation modes, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other logistics software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively and manage vendor relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of 's operational footprint and logistics challenges in the region is a plus.
