We are looking for a professional to join our Technical Sales team within our Turin office. Following an initial training period at our headquarters in Bentivoglio, the Sales Area Manager, reporting directly to the Sales Director, will be responsible for managing and developing the assigned customer portfolio in the Piedmont region. The purpose of the role is to strengthen Marposs' presence in the territory, develop new business opportunities, and support customers in identifying the technological solutions best suited to their needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the technical and sales teams at the Headquarters and across other Marposs Group companies. Key Responsibilities
Manage, develop, and retain the customer portfolio within the Piedmont area;
Identify and acquire new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers;
Provide technical and commercial consulting to determine the most suitable Marposs solutions for customers' application requirements;
Monitor market trends and competitors, identifying new growth opportunities;
Achieve assigned sales targets and provide regular reporting on activities performed.
Requirements
Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields;
Experience gained in industrial environments, supported by a solid technical background;
Good command of English, both written and spoken (minimum B1 level);
Availability for frequent travel within the assigned territory and business trips to the Bentivoglio Headquarters and other Group companies;
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer-oriented skills;
Commercial mindset and ability to identify new business opportunities;
