Technical Customer Engineer

In this role you provide on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Nordson Packaging equipment in the North-West Piedmont region. You work closely with customers to ensure reliable operation and high satisfaction, and you collaborate with Sales to identify service opportunities and support growth. The position requires strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and travel within the territory.
You will contribute to delivering safe, compliant field service and shaping customer success across the region. Provide on-site technical support and service activities across the North-West Piedmont region Install, configure, maintain, and repair equipment per procedures Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system issues Document service actions and findings according to requirements Prioritize service requests to meet commitments Collaborate with Sales to identify service opportunities and support revenue targets Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication Provide technical guidance and basic user training as needed Ensure safety, quality, and company policy compliance during field activities Maintain service tools, equipment,
and inventory in good condition Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to product performance 3-5 years in industrial service or equipment installation Experience with PLC troubleshooting Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Solid understanding of electromechanical, electronic, computer, and network-based systems Ability to read and apply technical documentation and service procedures Strong customer service orientation and communication skills in Italian and English Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced field environment Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP C4 C, and other service management/CRM tools Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Technical Support, Engineering, Operations, Sales) Willingness to travel ******%), including international travel when needed Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies and procedures Ability to identify service opportunities while supporting customers in the field communication independence and time management electromechanical systems electronic and computer systems Technical Customer Engineer pisa, toscana, it
