or a related discipline.Hands-on experience in a laboratory environment.Proficiency with optical test and measurement instruments, including Optical Spectrum Analyzers, Optical Power Meters, Tunable Lasers, and Polarization Controllers.Solid understanding of optical characterization techniques.Experience in the design, fabrication, and testing of photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
Proficient in photonics design and simulation software such as Lumerical, RSoft, or VPIphotonics.Knowledge of photonic component design, including waveguides, resonators, filters, and modulators.
