ppWithin our Investment Engineering team, part of Operations, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of cutting?edge machinery used in the production of power and telecommunications cables.
In this role, you will play a key part throughout the entire lifecycle of industrial projects—from concept and design to installation, commissioning, and production start?up—working in an international environment and collaborating with teams across the globe.
/ph3What you'll do /h3ulliDefine electrical specifications for machinery and equipment used in cable manufacturing processes.
/liliDesign and develop solutions involving electrical systems, automation, power electronics, drives, and control systems.
/liliEvaluate and select suppliers for electrical panels and automation solutions.
/liliSupport the installation, commissioning, and start?up of equipment in Prysmian plants worldwide.
/liliCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence, reliability, and operational efficiency.
/liliDrive continuous improvement by identifying innovative and robust engineering solutions.

/li /ulh3Who are we looking for?
/h3ulliDegree in Electrical Engineering – Power Electronics.
/liliAt least five to seven years of professional experience in a technical role (technology or manufacturing), preferably in the Industrial sector.
Training will be provided if necessary.
/liliSimilar role does not mean an experience in a Company manufacturing cables; similar role mean an experience in process automation whatever has been the final product of the Company of the previous activity.
/liliEnglish Proficiency.
/liliGood communication, negotiation and team working skills.
/liliAbility to understand the context of the work environment Management of inter?departmental and multicultural relations, given the number of countries and plants of Prysmian.
/liliAbility to identify potential problems, either technical or procedural, propose solutions and involve other colleagues in developing these solutions when necessary.
/liliAvailability to travel.
