About the Role
The Wind Drivetrain Technician performs up-tower drivetrain repairs and mechanical upgrades on wind turbines. The technician must identify issues and complete repairs safely in the field.
Responsibilities
Main responsibilities include gearbox repairs, bearing replacements, generator work, drivetrain disassembly and reassembly, and commissioning‑related support, with 100% travel required.
Qualifications
- Valid GWO, BST, ART, and BTT certifications
- Experience with wind turbine gearboxes, including Winergy, Nanjing, ZF, or equivalent
- High School Diploma or GED
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license (required to operate company vehicles)
- Willingness to travel 100%

We estimate the base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon qualifications, to be $26/hour to $40/hour.
