OverviewIn this role you will lead a global scouting engine to identify and prioritize external opportunities for Recordati's BD transactions and portfolio growth.
You will translate strategy into actionable search theses, build and maintain landscape views, and provide evidence-based recommendations spanning early-stage investments, licensing, and M&A.;
You will collaborate with R&D; and Commercial teams to monitor scientific developments and drive BD pipeline quality.

ResponsabilitàLead the global landscaping process across therapeutic areas, development stages, and geographies
Translate BD strategy into clear search theses, screening criteria, and repeatable scouting plans
Create and maintain a dedicated tool to scan scientific, clinical, regulatory, competitive landscapes for emerging assets and opportunities
Build and keep structured watchlists and landscape maps with consistent documentation to fuel BD pipeline
Perform rapid assessments of rationale, data, feasibility, IP, regulatory path, and commercial attractiveness
Support lifecycle scouting for existing portfolio in collaboration with R&D; and Commercial teams
Monitor scientific congresses, partnering events, disclosures, databases and publications
Develop scouting metrics and reporting to show coverage, quality, and strategic themes
Contribute to continuous improvement of S&E; tools, processes, governance and knowledge management
Requisiti fondamentali5+ years in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare investment or life-sciences advisory, including at least 2 years in Search & Evaluation
Proven ability to conduct systematic landscapes, scout, evaluate and monitor opportunities across therapeutic areas and modalities
Experience applying evolving AI and digital tools for landscaping and scouting
Strong analytical and synthesis abilities to turn scouting into prioritized BD opportunities
Competence in interpreting preclinical, translational and clinical evidence
Understanding of IP and regulatory implications in scouting activities
International experience; experience outside Italy preferred
Strong project leadership, prioritization and multi-workstream management
Collaborative and effective across functions, cultures, and seniority levels
Willingness and ability to travel internationally
