Generate new business in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events) and Groups segments through proactive prospecting, developing new corporate accounts, MICE agencies, and event organizers.
Key Responsibilities

- Identify and acquire new clients in the MICE and Groups segments through proactive prospecting (cold calling, networking, site inspections).
- Develop and manage the MICE/Groups sales pipeline, from RFP to contract signature.
- Attend trade shows, workshops, and industry events dedicated to the MICE segment (e.g., IMEX, IBTM, corporate trade fairs).
- Build lasting relationships with MICE agencies, PCOs (Professional Congress Organizers), and corporate accounts.
- Track production targets and the conversion of enquiries into confirmed contracts.
- Work with the relevant team on the optimal allocation of space and rooms for the groups/MICE segment.
Requirements

- Degree in Economics, Management, other STEM, or Event Management.
- At least 3–5 years of MICE/Groups sales experience in hospitality, with a proven new-business development track record.
- Strong proactive prospecting/hunting skills.
- Knowledge of the Italian and international MICE market.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in Italian and English; a second language is a plus. xysqume
