/ppThis is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Electrical Engineer looking to take a leadership role across electrical design, engineering coordination, installation, commissioning and handover.
/ppWith a significant pipeline of projects for the next 5+ years, this position offers long-term stability, career development and the opportunity to work on some of Europe's most technically advanced engineering projects.
/ppThe Opportunity: /ppAs Lead Electrical Engineer, you will take responsibility for electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with the Project Manager, design team, BIM, construction teams, vendors and client.
/ppYou'll ensure electrical designs are technically robust, constructible and compliant, while supporting successful installation, commissioning and handover.
/ppThis is a hands-on leadership position offering significant technical responsibility and the opportunity to lead engineering activities and mentor junior engineers.
/ppKey Responsibilities: /pulliLead electrical engineering and design management activities throughout the project /liliReview electrical designs and specifications, identifying gaps, clashes and technical risks /liliValidate cable sizing,
technical assessments and electrical solutions /liliPrepare and manage electrical technical submittals and approvals /liliCoordinate electrical equipment procurement, delivery and technical compliance /liliWork closely with BIM and construction teams to ensure designs are constructible and coordinated /liliLiaise with clients, designers, vendors and subcontractors to resolve technical issues /liliMonitor engineering and installation progress against the construction programme /liliConduct electrical system walk-downs to verify compliance with drawings and specifications /liliCoordinate testing, commissioning and handover activities /liliCompile and manage test packs, FTOPs and OMs /liliManage specialist vendors throughout commissioning /liliProvide technical support to estimating, procurement, commercial and project bid teams /liliSupport QA processes and continuous improvement initiatives /liliMentor and coach junior engineers and graduates /li /ulpWhat We're Looking For: /ppWe're looking to speak with experienced Electrical Engineers with a strong background in building services, data centres or technically complex construction projects.
/ppYou'll ideally have: /pulli3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering /lili7+ years' project engineering experience, preferably within construction /liliStrong experience with LV and MV electrical systems /liliProven experience delivering projects within Data Centre, Commercial,
Industrial or Pharmaceutical environments /liliKnowledge of BS****, ETCI, Building Regulations, EN and IEC standards /liliExperience with Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD 2D, Adobe Pro and MS Office /liliStrong experience managing clients, vendors, contractors and design teams /liliExperience with technical reviews, assessments and submittals /liliStrong commercial awareness and project management skills /liliExcellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities /liliAbility to lead, influence and manage multiple priorities /liliStrong focus on EHS, quality and work management processes /liliExperience mentoring and developing junior engineers /li /ulpWhat's On Offer?
