ppBased in Milan and reporting to the Property Team, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy for the Property Multinational risks into the Italian market.
With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets.
You will be also the contact person for agents and/or brokers working with the Property Team.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliEnsure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelines.
/liliSteer and control the portfolio at local level in conjunction with the Head of Property to drive the achievement of financial targets.
/liliProactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of end-to-end underwriting life cycle.
/liliWork closely with Sales departments, Risk Consulting, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross-selling.
/liliEnsure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.
/liliProactively support the development and implementation of new and/or modified products /liliSupport the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including agent and broker negotiations)
/liliCommunicate local business strategy externally /li /ulh3Degree in Engineering or Economics or Law or equivalent Experience /h3ulliAt least 3 proven experience in underwriting profitable Property business for Corporate Clients both PD/BI and Theft /liliPreference if also experienced in Multinational clients as well as knowledge in Liability.
/liliExpertise in risk assessment and a firm understanding of policy administration life cycle.
/liliSound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skills /liliIdeally experience in designing, developing, and implementing consistent and robust wordings /liliIdeally experience in driving underwriting projects /liliEntrepreneurial mindset /liliStrong communication skills /liliAble to work in an international organization.
/liliFluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken) /liliData Reporting /li /ulpVery good knowledge in Office 365 and other collaborative tools /ppPursuant to Article 5(1) of Legislative Decree No. 96 of 7 May ****, as amended and supplemented from time to time, the range applicable to the position offered is between € ****** gross and € ****** gross.
/ppEmployment will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the National Collective Labor Agreement for Insurance Companies and the applicable Company Agreement.
/ppThe final determination of the starting remuneration will be based on an evaluation of the candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience in relation to the requirements of the role.
