ppThe Tender Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of preparing, submitting, and following up on tenders and bids.
This role ensures compliance with the company's guidelines and external requirements while maximizing opportunities to win new business and maintain existing contracts.
/p h3PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 pDescription of major duties and responsibilities of the role.
/p ul liRecommends price changes based on company/customer relationship; recognizes new business opportunities.
/li liDetermines validity of warranty claims.
/li liInteracts with customers, company sales and/or customer service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service functions.
/li liResponds to customer inquiries to determine appropriate product literature and pricing schedules.
/li liHandles requests for additional company materials.
/li liPerform sales analyses and reports within the scope of the activity; includes the preparation of revenue analyses also with regard to specified file formats from the customers /li liMaintains records of product pricing.
/li liPreparation and processing of offers and tenders in coordination with the sales management /li liStructuring and/or administrating contractual documents that establishes business relationships with customers or government bodies.
/li liSupports sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations (CRM) with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s).
/li /ul h3EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS /h3 pMinimum level of education/experience required.
/p ul liProven experience in tender management,



bid preparation or similar role /li liKnowledge of tendering platforms and procurement processes /li liExcellent knowledge of Microsoft office /li liStrong organisational skills /li liAbility to work under pressure /li liMethodical and high attention to detail /li liAbility to work in fast paced multicultural environment /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills /li liAbility to work on own initiative.
/li liFamiliarity with legal and financial aspects of contracts and tenders /li /ul h3SPECIALIZED SKILLS OTHER REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liApproachable and enthusiastic /li liFlexible and adaptable /li liEngaging and relating /li liAble to work on own initiative and as a team player /li liGood organizational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity /li liGood judgment and problem-solving ability is capable of understanding the impact of decision making on both Teleflex and their customers.
