The Opportunity /ph3The Opportunity /h3pAs Site Manager, you will be the senior Hitachi Energy representative on site, responsible for coordinating all construction, installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
Working closely with Project Managers, customers, subcontractors and project stakeholders, you will drive safe and efficient project execution while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring contractual commitments are met.
Success in this role requires strong leadership, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to bring teams together to achieve project goals in demanding site environments.
/ph3How You'll Make an Impact /h3ulliLead all site activities from mobilization through commissioning and final handover.
/liliCreate and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energy standards, customer requirements and local regulations.
/liliCoordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
/liliPlan, organize and monitor site activities to ensure delivery against project schedules and milestones.
/liliAct as the primary point of contact on site for customers, authorities and key stakeholders.
/liliEnsure all works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, quality requirements and contractual obligations.
/liliIdentify project risks and implement effective mitigation and recovery plans.
/liliManage site logistics, materials and resources to support efficient project execution.
/liliSupport cost control, change management and commercial performance.
/liliLead, coach and develop site personnel while promoting collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
/li /ulh3Your Background /h3ulliA Degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or another relevant discipline.
/liliSignificant experience managing site-based construction, installation, commissioning or project execution activities.
/liliProven success leading complex industrial, infrastructure, energy or EPC projects.




/liliExperience managing subcontractors, suppliers, customers and multidisciplinary project teams.
/liliStrong knowledge of construction, installation, testing and commissioning processes.
/liliUnderstanding of project scheduling, risk management and cost control principles.
/liliA strong commitment to health, safety and environmental excellence.
/liliExcellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
/liliExperience within Power Transmission Distribution, Renewable Energy, Data Centres, Industrial Infrastructure or related sectors would be highly desirable.
/liliProficiency with project planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent.
/liliFluency in English and willingness to travel and work across domestic and international project sites.
