pHERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE UP TO /ppAs part of our continued growth, we are looking for a bBusiness Development Manager /b to cover bItaly /b.
In this role, you will report directly to the Country Manager of Italy and play a key role in driving our regional expansion.Your mission will be to build WDP's local market intelligence and commercial network, identify and qualify priority opportunities, support the first commercial leads and help translate WDP's international track record into a credible local market position.
/ppbr/pulliYou will be responsible for implementing the commercial strategy by identifying, qualifying and originating the first wave of opportunities in Italy and attracting companies looking for logistics real estate solutions.
/liliYou maintain close relationships with real estate agents and act as a complementary partner, working alongside clients throughout the process.
/liliYou will be responsible for developing new sites and seeking acquisitions of existing logistics buildings (incl. land positions, development opportunities, acquisitions, built-to-suit projects and sale-and-leaseback transactions).
/liliYou develop a local market map of key occupiers, brokers, landowners, municipalities, developers, advisors and logistics operators.
You lead contract negotiations and collaborate closely with the legal team and project managers on new construction projects.
/liliYou closely monitor trends and developments in the logistics sector, with a strong focus on smart buildings, sustainability, etc., and their impact on the portfolio.
/li /ulpbr/ppHERE'S YOUR PROFILE /pulliYou hold a master's degree or have relevant professional experience.
/liliYou bring a strong,
proven track record gained in a logistics-driven environment.
/liliYou have 5–10 years of experience in logistics real estate, industrial real estate, occupier advisory, development, brokerage, land acquisition, asset management or real estate expansion.
/liliExperience with logistics or industrial real estate is strongly preferred; exposure to land, leasing, built-to-suit projects, acquisitions or sale-and-leaseback transactions is a strong plus.
/liliYou are comfortable working in an entrepreneurial market-entry context, where structure is being built and where you are expected to take initiative.
/liliYou can operate independently and autonomously, but know when to involve legal, technical, financial and commercial colleagues.
/liliYou are fluent in Italian and English.
/liliYou are a true team player who collaborates effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
/liliYou have a strong commercial mindset and a clear understanding of customer needs.
/liliYou are communicative, proactive, and dynamic, with a natural talent for building long-term relationships.
