OverviewAs a Junior System Engineer, you will support the Rolling Stock Engineering team in delivering system requirements, interfaces, and verification activities.
You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across a fast-paced, international environment.
You will contribute to system installation, integration, and homologation efforts, helping ensure compliance with railway regulations and project constraints.
This role offers hands-on exposure to diverse engineering disciplines and opportunities to influence onboard systems development.
You will work under supervision to develop technical documentation and support vehicle approvals.
ResponsabilitàPrepare System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) and Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS)
Define and manage system interfaces throughout the project lifecycle
Analyze supplier technical documentation and verify system installation drawings
Conduct design reviews with internal teams and suppliers
Develop Functional Test Specifications (FTS) including performance tests
Support onboard integration, performance testing, and validation




Review design documentation with customers and suppliers
Ensure compliance with input requirements, international regulations, and project constraints
Prepare documentation for vehicle approval and support homologation
Requisiti fondamentaliBasic system engineering and requirements management knowledge
Fundamental design verification and validation knowledge
Fundamental knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering
Proficient in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Collaborative, fast-paced, international environment adaptation
Strong organizational, team-working, problem-solving, and results-driven mindset
Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work in project teams with minimal supervision
Willingness to travel occasionally for short national/international trips
