New Gold currently seeks an Intermediate Underground Geotechnical Engineer for the Rainy River Mine. You will support both office and field activities and report to the Senior Underground Geotechnical Engineer, working on GCMP implementation and ground control across underground excavations.

The role requires a 4–7 year background in rock mechanics, underground ground support design, and proficiency with 2D/3D modelling tools such as RocScience, Deswik, Leapfrog, and GeoStudio.
