We are looking for a Test Engineer to develop and execute manual and automated tests in order to ensure the quality of our products. As a Test Engineer he/she will estimate, plan, and coordinate the testing activities. He/she will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect tracking system. The position in open in Rome.

Your tasks

- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents together with Product Managers and Developers to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured technical guidelines
- Execute test procedures and analyze results
- Detect, document and track software and/or hardware issues
- Verify bug fixes
- Plan and perform drive tests

Your Qualifications

- Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related subject
- Technical background and general understanding of the telecom industry
- Basic knowledge of mobile network technologies (GSM, WCDMA, CDMA, LTE, NR)
- Basic knowledge of computer network technologies (TCP/IP, NDIS, Routing)
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Android operating systems
- Basic knowledge of automation frameworks and programming languages (C++, C#, Java,
- JavaScript, Python (or similar)
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server and SQL Management Studio is highly appreciated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, German is an advantage
- Precise and attentive to details
- Flexible, independent and self-motivated - Able to work in a collaborative, global environment
- ISTQB® (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certifications are highly appreciated
- Driving license
