About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG AMS Analyst to support ongoing SAP Master Data Governance operations and application maintenance, with a strong focus on Material Master .
The role will involve managing production support tickets, troubleshooting issues, performing root-cause analysis, supporting minor enhancements, and assessing the impact of SAP patches and system changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional SAP MDG application support , primarily focused on Material Master.
- Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and support tickets within agreed SLAs.
- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for incidents and recurring issues.
- Investigate master data issues and coordinate with business and technical teams to resolve them.
- Support minor enhancements, configuration changes, and development activities where required.
- Perform impact assessments for SAP patches, upgrades, fixes, and system changes .
- Support functional, regression, and user acceptance testing for changes and fixes.
- Maintain clear documentation of incidents, solutions, changes, and support processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve system stability, support processes, and master data quality.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
- Solid experience with SAP Master Data Governance (SAP MDG) .
- Strong functional understanding of Material Master .
- Experience in SAP AMS / application support or a production support environment.
- Experience with ticket and incident management and troubleshooting.
- Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting minor enhancements or configuration changes .
- Ability to assess the impact of SAP patches and system changes .
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
- SAP S/4HANA experience.
- Exposure to SAP MDG configuration or development.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticket management tools.
- Knowledge of other master data domains such as Customer, Supplier, or Business Partner.
- Experience working in a large-scale SAP support or managed services environment.
What We're Looking For A proactive SAP MDG professional who can take ownership of production support issues, work independently on problem resolution, and collaborate effectively with business and technical teams. The ideal candidate will combine strong SAP MDG and Material Master knowledge with practical experience in AMS, ticket management, root-cause analysis, and system change impact assessment .
