Overview In this role, you will define and validate the detailed manufacturing process for new products at the Savigliano site, aligning with quality, cost and delivery targets. You will collaborate with Process Engineers to improve manufacturability and drive industrialization as programs move to serial production. You'll contribute to FEMAs, tooling, ERP routings and work instructions, while ensuring safety and ergonomic standards.
The role blends design input, process optimization and continuous improvement to support scalable, safe manufacturing in the railway sector.
Responsabilità Define and validate detailed manufacturing processes for new products Prepare industrial master data and set manufacturing method times Lead continuous improvement and industrialize product/process changes in serial phase Collaborate with Process Engineer/PIM to improve manufacturability and meet QCD targets Participate in design reviews and estimate method time Participate in P-FMEA and validate prototypes Request tooling and write tooling specifications Develop ERP routings,
work/instruction and CNC program specifications when needed Ensure EHS and ergonomic standards and create proper work station sequencing Validate industrialization through FAR and FAI; calculate precise Method Time Post-serial phase: industrialize retrofits, update routings and tooling; support production to meet targets Participate in continuous improvement workshops (e.g., SWIP) and contribute to industrial REX Contribute to manufacturing processes improvement across the plant Requisiti fondamentali Manufacturing experience, preferably in the railway industry Technical knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, writing work instructions, line balancing Experience with ERP systems for BOM, routings and configuration follow-up (e.g., SAP) Knowledge of Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics Familiar with IS common tools Process FMEA and QRQC Time analysis methods (MTM, MEK, UAS) English reading/writing/speaking Conscientious Team player Decisive Manufacturing engineering Writing manufacturing work instructions Line balancing
