As a Junior System Engineer, you will support the Rolling Stock Engineering team in delivering system requirements, interfaces, and verification activities. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across a fast-paced, international environment. You will contribute to system installation, integration, and homologation efforts, helping ensure compliance with railway regulations and project constraints.
This role offers hands-on exposure to diverse engineering disciplines and opportunities to influence onboard systems development. You will work under supervision to develop technical documentation and support vehicle approvals.
Responsabilità
- Prepare System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) and Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS)
- Define and manage system interfaces throughout the project lifecycle
- Analyze supplier technical documentation and verify system installation drawings
- Conduct design reviews with internal teams and suppliers
- Develop Functional Test Specifications (FTS) including performance tests
- Support onboard integration, performance testing, and validation
- Review design documentation with customers and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with input requirements, international regulations, and project constraints
- Prepare documentation for vehicle approval and support homologation
Requisiti fondamentali
- Basic system engineering and requirements management knowledge
- Fundamental design verification and validation knowledge
- Fundamental knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering
- Proficient in office software xkiyazw (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Collaborative, fast-paced, international environment adaptation
- Strong organizational, team-working, problem-solving, and results-driven mindset
- Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in project teams with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel occasionally for short national/international trips
