Overview In this role you design, coordinate and oversee the construction, commissioning and readiness of factory utility distribution systems for the manufacturing facility. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet process, build and hygienic standards while aligning with safety and environmental regulations. You will drive commissioning, start-up and handover activities to achieve operational readiness.

This position offers the chance to shape utility performance in a food-manufacturing context and to work on safety-focused, scalable infrastructure.

Responsabilità

- Review utility system designs and deliverables to ensure alignment with process and build requirements
- Coordinate installation activities with contractors and suppliers and support construction planning
- Develop and execute commissioning plans; manage testing, start-up and handover activities
- Ensure compliance with Engineering Standards, local regulations and hygienic design requirements
- Promote safe design practices and support permit-to-work and safety programs
- Verify installation quality, monitor progress against milestones, and manage punch lists
- Support inspections,

problem solving during construction and commissioning
- Assist in maintaining operational readiness of all utility systems

Requisiti fondamentali

- Knowledge of steam, condensate recovery, compressed air, chilled water, cooling waste, process and potable water, hot water, HVAC interfaces, natural gas distribution, utility networks and metering systems
- Experience operating or supervising heating systems (gas boilers) or other large combustion systems
- P&ID; (piping instrumentation diagram) experience
- Experience in industrial plants (AHU, chillers, fire protection, water/steam generation, water treatment, BMS and electrical equipment)
- Engineering university degree (mechanical or electrical) with substantial practical experience
- 5+ years in Industrial Services engineering related to manufacturing
- Fluency in Italian and English
