In this role, the candidate will work in Ferrari Software Engineering Department – SW Testing area, where Electronic Control Units (ECUs) are tested. The candidate will support the development, management and validation of MATLAB Simulink plant models used in advanced simulation environment. The candidate will be part of a team-oriented environment, involved in developing and applying HIL simulation technology for the Chassis controls domain.
You will cooperate in different activities, including: Development and maintenance of MATLAB Simulink plant models of physical systems for HIL simulation. Optimization of models for SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) environments. Defining and enforcing modelling guidelines for plant models.
Handling model versioning and configuration (e.g., Git, SVN).
Embedded
Coder, Matlab Simulink compiler). Debugging and analysis of discrepancies between simulated and real-world behaviours. Ensuring proper technical documentation and requirement traceability For this fundamental role, we are ideally looking for a recent Master graduate or current Master student (eligible for internship) or in your final year in Aerospace, Mechanical or Mathematic Engineering.
You will not only have a passion for automotive and innovative solutions, but also already gained first work-experience through internships or projects (in automotive or luxury sectors) that allow you to understand business complexities and help you to develop your personal and communicative skills. You need to demonstrate strong communication skills (such as the ability to listen as well as in-depth reasoning). You will be expected to work independently as well as integrate as part of a team.
It goes without saying that you relish a challenge. The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
Fluent
English is required.
