Far East Supply Chain Assistant

Purpose La posizione è inserita nel gruppo Sales ed ha il compito di assistere il Far East Supply Chain Coordinator al fine di garantire il complesso delle attività che riguardano i flussi di avanzamento degli ordini verso il Far East, provenienti da diversi soggetti internazionali, coordinandosi con il team di demand planning in Cina, nonché la supervisione di tutti gli aspetti logistici e di processo che riguardano tali flussi.

Main Responsibilities La posizione prevede di assistere e condividere con il Far East Supply Chain Coordinator

- Coordinamento e condivisione informazioni tra DP Cina, Ufficio Costi e QC Cina e corrispettivi interlocutori internazionali
- Supporto a decisioni su flussi operativi di DP Cina, tra i quali, ma non soltanto, aggiornamenti in Sap, pratiche doganali, aggiornamenti listini…
- Autorizzazione duplicati e rifacimenti stampi in ottica di ottimizzazione produttiva, in collaborazione con DP Cina
- Comunicazione prezzi ai clienti, in particolare fabbriche del Far East.
- Lancio dei codici di produzione di articoli a supporto ufficio R&D;

- Mantenimento del listino Intranet
- Archiviazione dati tecnici relativi a sviluppo/prodotto/costi/prezzi
- Supporto a IT per aggiornamenti massivi
- Supporto sul tema piattaforme clienti

Reporting Il titolare della posizione riporterà al Far East Supply Chain Coordinator.

Skills

- Ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese; la conoscenza del Cinese è un plus
- Ottima conoscenza del mondo suole,

relativamente al business di Vibram e degli aspetti tecnici correlati (stampi e processi produttivi)
- Buone capacità di negoziazione
- Orientamento al cliente e al servizio
- Attenzione e precisione nell’elaborazione di reportistica e nell’esecuzioni dei compiti
- Ottime doti relazionali e comunicative
- Disponibilità a viaggiare (prevalentemente verso la sede cinese e relativi fornitori Far East)

Far East Supply Chain Assistant

Purpose The position is part of the Sales team and is responsible for supporting the Far East Supply Chain Coordinator in ensuring the effective management of all activities related to order progress flows to the Far East originating from various international stakeholders. The role works in coordination with the demand planning team in China and oversees all logistical and process-related aspects associated with these flows.

Work location: Albizzate (VA)

Main Responsibilities The role involves supporting the Far East Supply Chain Coordinator and working closely with them on the following activities:

- Coordination and information sharing among China Demand Planning, the Cost Office and China Quality Control, as well as their respective international counterparts
- Support for decisions concerning China Demand Planning operational flows, including, but not limited to, SAP updates, customs procedures and price-list updates
- Authorization of duplicate molds and mold remakes with a view to optimizing production, in collaboration with China Demand Planning
- Communication of prices to customers, particularly Far East factories
- Creation and release of production codes for products in support of the R&D; department
- Maintenance of the Intranet price list
- Archiving of technical data relating to development, products, costs and prices
- Support for IT with bulk updates
- Support regarding customer platforms

Reporting The position holder will report to the Far East Supply Chain Coordinator.

Skills

- Excellent command of English; Chinese language is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of the footwear-sole industry, with particular reference to Vibram’s business and the related technical aspects (molds and manufacturing processes)
- Good negotiation skills
- Customer and service orientation
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing reports and carrying out assigned tasks
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel, primarily to the China office and the relevant Far East suppliers
