Role Description The Director of Administration is a full-time, on-site role based in Milan, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s administrative, financial, and operational processes. This role manages budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
The Director of Administration coordinates administrative staff, designs efficient workflows, and implements tools and procedures that support smooth daily operations and resource allocation. They collaborate with senior leadership to provide data-driven insights,
support strategic planning, and monitor performance indicators related to costs, efficiency, and risk. The role also involves managing vendor relationships, overseeing contracts and office services, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enable ACBC’s innovation and growth.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess performance, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings, and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Finance and Budgeting skills to manage financial planning, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Candidates should possess Accounting skills to oversee bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in administrative or operations leadership, preferably within consulting, fashion, luxury, or related industries, is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and financial/ERP systems; fluency in English, with Italian language skills considered an advantage.
