Digital Marketing & Communication Junior IFAB is a non-profit foundation that promotes research into Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and High-Performance Computing, with the aim of connecting advanced technologies with the real needs of businesses and society.
To strengthen our Marketing and Communications team, we are looking for someone who can help us communicate the strategic role of AI and data in shaping the digital future.
The role We are looking for a Digital Marketing & Communication Junior to support the implementation of the Foundation's communication strategy and the promotion of its projects, with a particular focus on accelerating the adoption of Artificial Intelligence and frontier technologies among innovators, researchers and businesses.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing a go-to-market approach capable of addressing the needs of different target audiences, promoting AI solutions that anticipate future challenges while responding to today's needs.
Full-time position based in Bologna, with the possibility of remote working.
Key responsibilities Implement the digital communication and social media strategy, ensuring consistency with the visual identity of each project.
Create and schedule content for the website, LinkedIn and other social media channels, including copy, visuals, videos, articles and newsletters.
Work with project teams to produce dissemination materials such as flyers, infographics, short videos and reports.
Support digital campaigns and media planning activities, monitoring KPIs and analytics to optimise performance.
Manage communications coverage for events, webinars and conferences organised by IFAB or its project partners.
Coordinate with external partners and suppliers, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of content.
Ideal profile Degree in Communication, Digital Marketing or a related field.
One to two years of experience in digital marketing, institutional communication, or research and innovation environments.
Knowledge of social media management tools, web analytics, SEO/SEM and email marketing.
Interest in content design and visual communication, with confidence using graphic design and video-editing tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent writing skills in Italian and English, with the ability to adopt a clear, institutional and accessible tone.
Experience managing websites through WordPress.
Ability and motivation to work within multi-institutional teams and manage complex projects.
Curiosity and a willingness to think outside the box, combined with accuracy, creativity, analytical thinking and the ability to meet deadlines.
Nice to have An interest in AI and data, HPC, digital technologies and technology transfer.
