Job Title: Culinary Coordinator Intern

Department: Kitchen

Reports to: Executive Chef

JOB OVERVIEW:

Basic Requirements

Education

- University degree
- Excellent command of the English language
- Specialization course or Master's degree preferred

Main Responsibilities: The Intern will be assigned to the Kitchen Department and will gain a comprehensive understanding of departmental operations through the following activities:

- Menu engineering;
- Food cost analysis and evaluation;
- Preparation of weekly schedules for the Kitchen and Stewarding departments;
- Kitchen staff management (coordination of departmental duties and management of employees' vacation planning);
- Management of departmental correspondence and the Chef's schedule;
- Recruitment activities for Kitchen Department candidates in collaboration with the Human Resources team;
- Supporting the Chef during job interviews;
- Supporting the Human Resources Department in the organization of training activities;
- Creating and implementing a database system for Kitchen employees.

Throughout this internship experience, the intern will develop a broad range of skills. They will learn to be proactive, efficient,



and responsive to the various needs of the department, including handling last-minute requests when necessary. They will also strengthen their organizational and problem-solving abilities.

- Polite, responsible, and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Accurate, detail-oriented, and decisive;
- Strong teamwork skills;
- Problem-solving mindset;
- Flexibility regarding working hours;
- Collaborative attitude;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
