We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to strengthen Firefly's business in Italy.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building long-term customer relationships within the process industry. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored fire prevention and protection solutions together with Firefly's technical experts.
You will manage the full sales process, from identifying opportunities and conducting customer meetings to preparing proposals, negotiating agreements and closing orders. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues across our international organization.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Italian process industry market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Manage sales of tailor-made fire prevention and protection systems
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure
- Understand customer needs and develop technical solutions together with internal experts
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
- Negotiate agreements and close business opportunities
- Represent Firefly at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Travel approximately 60-90 days per year
