Overview

As an Azure Data Architect at NTT Data, you design and operate cloud-native data processing systems with emphasis on security, scalability, reliability, and portability. You collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to translate use cases into robust data pipelines and data lakes for analytics and AI models. You bridge Data Science and Data Engineering, delivering practical, innovative solutions and driving continuous improvement in a multinational, cross-cultural setting.

Responsabilità

- Design, build, and operationalize data processing systems with strong security and compliance
- Deliver data acquisition, transformation, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading into data lakes for analytics/ML
- Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases and data needs
- Migrate workloads from on-premises to cloud environments
- Monitor distributed data infrastructure and pipelines using Azure tools or open-source solutions
- Prototype proofs-of-concept to address specific business needs
- Serve as a bridge between Data Science and Data Engineering to align both domains
- Share innovative,

Requisiti fondamentali

- Cloud-native experience in at least one major public cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure)
- 5+ years on Azure preferred
- Experience with Big Data architectures, cloud and on-premise
- Azure infrastructure and networking experience
- Proven ability to build/deliver proofs-of-concept for business needs
- Experience migrating workloads from on-prem to cloud
- Experience monitoring distributed infrastructure (Grafana, Prometheus, Azure tools)
- Proficient in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting
- SQL knowledge
- Experience with Agile methodology and Kanban
- Experience leading medium-sized teams
- Experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and other Azure ETL/ELT tools
- Microsoft Certification: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
