Overview In this role you drive revenue, profitability, and market share for DHL Aviation Cargo Sales (ACS) in Kuwait by shaping and executing strategic sales initiatives. You will manage key accounts, pursue new business with freight forwarders and cargo customers, and coordinate with operations and regional teams to meet customer requirements. You'll lead pipeline, pricing, and proposals to optimize capacity use and profitability.
The role combines strategic development with hands-on account management to deliver exceptional customer experience.
Responsabilità
- Develop and implement the Kuwait ACS sales strategy aligned with regional/global objectives
- Hit revenue, volume, yield, and profitability targets through proactive sales planning
- Identify and secure new ACS opportunities with freight forwarders and cargo clients
- Grow existing portfolios via regular engagement, reviews, and solution-based selling
- Build relationships with decision-makers to ensure retention and long-term growth
- Collaborate with Capacity Management, Operations, Gateway, and MENA teams to maximize capacity utilization
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing and commercial responses
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage quotations, agreements,
and proposals within guidelines
- Maintain accurate CRM-driven sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting
- Participate in customer visits, events, and development activities to promote DHL ACS services
- Support network optimization and contribute to customer satisfaction and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with DHL policies, aviation regulations, and security requirements
- DSO management
Requisiti fondamentali
- Minimum 5 years in air cargo, airline, freight forwarding, aviation logistics, or cargo sales
- Proven track record in business development and account management
- Strong commercial negotiation and relationship management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong presentation and reporting skills; proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Aviation Management
- Languages: English fluent; Arabic an advantage
