XR Software Engineer:
TXT E-Tech is looking for a Unity Developer specialized in VR/XR, with at least 2 years of experience in the development of immersive applications.
The selected candidate will join the development team supporting a major client in the aerospace sector and will be involved in the design, development, and optimization of immersive experiences for Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Extended Reality (XR) applications.
Main responsibilities:
Develop VR/XR applications using Unity 3D and C#;
Implement immersive interaction mechanics (input, gestures, locomotion, and VR UI);
Optimize application performance and stability for VR/XR devices;
Integrate 3D assets, animations, audio, and shaders;
Collaborate with designers, 3D artists, and project managers;
Perform testing, debugging, and code maintenance;
Contribute to technical and architectural decision-making.
Required qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience with Unity development;
Strong knowledge of C#;
Proven experience developing VR/XR applications;
Knowledge of major VR SDKs (e.g., OpenXR, Oculus SDK, SteamVR);
Familiarity with VR devices (e.g., Meta Quest, HTC Vive, Pico).
Nice to have:
Knowledge of version control systems (Git);
Experience with VR graphics and performance optimization;
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies;
Experience in gaming, simulation, training, or industrial environments.
