Position
Fendi is seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join its IS&T; Department. In addition to leading the cybersecurity agenda for the Maison, the CISO contributes to the Fashion Division Cyber Architecture & Expertise service, supporting architecture governance, technical expertise coordination, and the development of Division-wide security standards and blueprints.
The role requires close coordination with the LVMH local legal and compliance teams in the relevant jurisdictions, as well as with Fendi’s HQ legal and compliance team and other HQ functions, and offers significant exposure to an international, matrixed luxury goods organization.
Job responsibilities
Maison cybersecurity leadership
- Define and lead the Maison cybersecurity roadmap in alignment with Group and Division priorities, ensuring effective implementation of cybersecurity policies, standards, controls, and governance principles at Maison level
- Act as the primary cybersecurity advisor to the Maison CIO and key business stakeholders
- Lead cyber risk assessments, maintain the local risk register, and drive remediation and risk treatment plans
- Oversee Maison-level security operations, vulnerability management, incident preparedness, and response coordination
- Ensure cybersecurity requirements are embedded into business, digital, infrastructure, and transformation initiatives, monitoring cybersecurity posture, key risks, and remediation progress, and report to relevant stakeholders
- Support compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal security requirements
Fashion Division Cyber Architecture & Expertise
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of cybersecurity architecture principles, standards, and target blueprints across the Fashion Division
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to support secure design decisions across Maisons and shared initiatives
- Coordinate with divisional and Maison stakeholders on key architecture and security design topics
- Contribute to the review of major projects, platforms, and technology choices from a cybersecurity architecture perspective
Governance, resilience, and stakeholder engagement
- Apply Group and Division methodologies for cyber risk management, control assessment, and exception handling
- Coordinate audits, maturity assessments, third-party security reviews, and remediation follow-up
- Lead local coordination for cybersecurity incidents in line with Group and Division frameworks
- Define cybersecurity requirements for business continuity and disaster recovery planning
- Build effective relationships across IT, Digital, Operations, Legal, HR, Risk, Retail, Supply Chain, and other relevant functions
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in information security, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role
- Strong expertise across cybersecurity governance, risk management, security operations, cloud security, application security, infrastructure security, and security architecture
- Demonstrated ability to translate enterprise cybersecurity strategy into effective local execution
- Strong knowledge of frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF
- Previous experience as a CISO or Deputy CISO is preferred
- Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills

For new joiners for this role in Italy, the annual gross salary associated with this position is EUR 85.000.
This is only the initial annual gross salary granted to this position. This figure has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria and reflects the starting salary normally applicable to the position at the time of publication of this job posting. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs.
This role is also eligible for bonuses, subject to Fendi's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance. On top of legal benefits, further benefits are provided in accordance with current company policies.
This position is subject to the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Commercio) applicable to the role and applied by Fendi in Italy".

The Fendi Maison was established by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1925. The opening of the first Fendi boutique – a handbag shop and fur workshop followed. Soon winning international acclaim, Fendi emerged as a brand renowned for its elegance, craftsmanship, innovation and style.
