The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance in Italy, the Finance Intern will be based in Milan supporting the local Finance team by collaborating closely with the Accounting, Project Controlling and Treasury functions. The role will assist in the day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to ensuring that accounting activities are carried out accurately and in line with the Group’s monthly close timetable.
The Intern will support the Italian accounting processes, including general ledger activities, basic reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable tasks, and data collection for month-end and year-end closing procedures. The intern will contribute to the preparation of financial documentation and assist with activities related to VAT, withholding taxes, and cost monitoring for renewable energy projects. The role will also provide support in maintaining accounting records in accordance with ITA GAAP, while gaining exposure to IFRS reporting within the Group framework. This internship offers hands-on experience in an international environment, providing the opportunity to work with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA and to develop strong analytical and technical skills.

Desirable skills:
- Degree or ongoing studies in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related fields
- Curiosity and interest to learn accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting
- Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Interest in leveraging digital tools, data analytics, and AI within finance functions
