Job Description

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Software Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Tito Scalo (PZ).

Accountabilities

- Contribute to design, development and updating of software products for the manufacturing area fulfilling input requirements (Functional, Performances, Quality), managing the best compromise between Budget, Schedule, Risks, Reuse and standardization for future.
- Management and maintenance of softwares and the network of manufacturing area;
- Ensure the implementation of digitalization process in the manufacturing area;
- Ensure the implementation of the assigned actions as per the MFG action plan;




- Support the efficientment of production processes by new technologies software;
- Ensure the support to the production lines;
- Contribute to the design and the implementation of a complete solution (Modules, documentation and tools), applying company standard processes;
- Contribute to the correct operation of the SW on the applicable platforms.

Required Skills/Knowledge

SW advanced techniques, Scheduling & Cost Estimation, Knowledge of programming languages (LabView, C++, C#, Java, Javascript, HTML), SQL language and management software (SAP).

Education/Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (Software/Electronic Engineering, Informatic Engineering, Telecom Engineering)

Languages

English: Intermediate (written & spoken).
