Overview
Labor & Employment Associate role for Squire Patton Boggs.
We are seeking an Associate 2+ PQE with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience handling and advising on labour law matters, including contexts related to M&A; transactions.
Excellent academic background and fluency in English are required; knowledge of a second language is desirable.
The role involves working in a diverse and varied environment within our Labor & Employment Practice.
Responsibilities
Handle and advise on labour and employment matters across a spectrum of HR and labour law issues, including contentious and non-contentious work.
Contribute to projects such as developing global policies and procedures, handling disciplinary, restructuring and dismissal issues, and supporting M&A; transactions.
Render legal advice and opinions, manage day-to-day correspondence, participate in contract negotiations, and monitor contract performance.
Collaborate on international projects and work with networked colleagues and clients worldwide.
Contribute to innovation and technology initiatives within the practice, including LegalTech projects where applicable.
Qualifications
2+ PQE with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in handling and advising on labour law matters.
Attorney-at-law certification.
Proactive, communicative, and organized with the ability to coordinate multitasking.
Fluency in English,



including legal terminology; proficiency in a second language is desirable.
MS Office literacy.
