Main Duties
Undertake transport model development and application using various software packages which enables the simulation and analysis of the urban and inter-urban transport network / system and its interactions with economic, social, environmental, and land-use factors; Implement territorial multimodal macrosimulation models,
as well as both vehicular and pedestrian microsimulations and static road network assessment tools; Develop transport planning research projects with specific focus on transport modelling, traffic assessment, ITS, freight and sustainability issues; Extract data from transport models, analyse and produce technical reports; Support the liaison with Clients and coordinate technical details with other project consultants.
Job position education University Degree in Transport Engineering or equivalent. Job position experience 1-2 years of professional experience in Transport Modelling and Transport Planning. Job position skills Essential qualifications and experience: Proven ability to support the development, calibration and validation of transport models; Experience in technical report production. Excellent communication skills and interface with clients.
Desirable qualifications and experience: Experience in using CUBE/VISUM, PTV VISSIM, AIMSUN; GIS experience. Primary Location Milan, Italy Discipline Transport Planning
