Embedded Dev Ops Engineer | Torino – Hybrid
Work model: Hybrid – 1 day per week on-site
Join our Embedded Dev Ops team!
We are looking for an Embedded Dev Ops Engineer to support the development, integration and delivery of embedded software products.
The ideal candidate combines a solid background in embedded software development with strong expertise in build automation, CI/CD, software tooling and release processes.
You will work closely with development and integration teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of our development and delivery processes in a technically challenging environment.
What you will do
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded software projects.
- Manage and optimize build systems, toolchains and automated workflows.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash/Shell.
- Support software integration, build troubleshooting and release activities.
- Maintain and continuously improve Jenkins-based build infrastructure.
- Manage software packaging and release processes, including related documentation.
- Contribute to improving software quality, testing and deployment practices.
- Support software configuration management and Git-based development workflows.
- Collaborate with software developers and integration teams to identify and resolve build and integration issues.
What we are looking for
Mandatory requirements:
- Proven experience in software build automation and CI/CD environments.
- Strong knowledge of Jenkins and pipeline development using Groovy.
- Good programming/scripting skills in Python and Bash/Shell.
- Hands-on experience with CMake and Conan 2.
- Knowledge of C++ (C++11 or newer) and object-oriented programming, mainly for diagnostic and troubleshooting purposes.
- Good knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with cross-compilation environments and embedded toolchains.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Dev Ops practices.
- Experience with issue tracking and source-code management tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Git Hub or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Experience with Embedded Linux environments.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and test automation.
- Experience with release management and software delivery processes.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
