Line Cook

We are currently seeking Line Cooks with a minimum of one year experience in kitchen preparation and cooking. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently cooking meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products as well as preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking. You will also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.

Requirements

- One year experience in a related position in a high-volume, diverse, scratch-cooking, full-service or fine dining restaurant.
- Basic English reading and communication skills.
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in multi-tasking in dynamic situations.
- Knowledge of weights, measurements, volume and cooking procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.
- Ability to work in elevated temperatures.
- Continuous use of hands and arms.
- Continuous bending, reaching and twisting.
