As an Account Manager at Flexport, you nurture key client relationships and drive value delivery across the client's supply chain. You partner with clients, identify solutions, and manage upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities while ensuring a premium, consistent experience globally. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor metrics, onboarding, and strategic reviews, shaping outcomes that advance Flexport's mission to simplify global trade.

Cultivate and grow relationships with key business stakeholders to deepen the Flexport partnership
Monitor account health with clients and identify opportunities to improve the experience
Identify, develop and close upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities
Track client financial health and ensure timely payments
Lead client onboarding and define standard operating procedures
Scope and guide implementation stages and timelines for new opportunities
Collaborate with global counterparts to maintain a consistent account experience
Oversee client metrics with Global Operations and address escalations
Prepare content for client touchpoints to highlight value and new opportunities
Lead quarterly strategy reviews using deep client knowledge with minimal guidance
Drive product adoption with client stakeholders to maximize Flexport value
Document and refine client success criteria as needs evolve
Continue learning through internal/external training to act as a trusted advisor
Maintain Salesforce accounts and opportunity pipeline
3-5 years in sales/account management or client-facing role
Background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain
Client-centric mindset focused on outcomes and strategic planning
Strong problem-solving, process orientation, and structured thinking
Deep curiosity about client needs and how Flexport can meet them
High attention to detail and ability to analyze metrics
Strong business acumen and track record in (cross)selling a product
Fluent in Italian and English; Spanish is a strong plus
CV in English requested by employer
