Trust, respect and a willingness to help each other are not slogans here — they are how the working day actually runs.About the Role:As a Domestic Freight Forwarder, you will coordinate and manage domestic road freight shipments within Italy, acting as the key link between clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and reliable deliveries. You will be part of our growing Domestic Department in Turin, with the operational scale and European network of the wider Transimeksa group behind you.Key Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and coordinate domestic freight shipments (FTL/LTL)
across ItalySource and negotiate rates with carriers and subcontractorsPrepare and manage shipping documentation in compliance with domestic transport regulationsMonitor shipments in transit and proactively resolve delays or issuesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal departmentsProvide clients with accurate shipment status updates and pricing quotationsMaintain accurate records in the company's TMS/operating systemIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce transport costsRequirements:Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or domestic transport (preferred)Good knowledge of the Italian domestic road transport marketStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneouslyGood negotiation and communication skillsProficiency in MS Office; experience with aTMS/logistics software is a plusFluent Italian; working xjncmbx Englishis an advantage for cooperation with our international officesTeam player with a proactive, problem-solving attitudeWhat we offer:Competitive salaryA stable position in a compact Turin team, backed by an international group with more than 30 years in the marketDirect daily contact with colleagues across our offices in Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and Germany - and the chance to grow beyond domestic forwarding into international, intermodal or contract logisticsReal influence over how the Domestic Department develops as it growsA friendly, multicultural and supportive working environment where people are trusted to make decisionsOpportunities for professional growth and development
