You will provide strategic counsel while ensuring disciplined execution across talent, organisation, culture, performance, and change. /p pThis is a hands-on leadership role in a complex, highly regulated market. The scope includes organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership capability, employee and labour relations, performance management, and the use of data, digital tools, and AI to improve decisions and HR delivery. You will lead the local HR agenda in close partnership with EMEA HR, Centres of Excellence, Global Services, and the broader One HR Italy community. /p h3Kay Resposibilites /h3 ul liBuild trusted relationships with Head of HR, Managing Director, Italian Leadership Team, and people leaders, providing strategic advice, coaching, and constructive challenge. /li liTranslate the Italy business strategy, portfolio priorities, and evolving go-to-market needs into clear people, organisation, and capability plans. /li liUse workforce data, business insights, digital tools, and AI-enabled analysis to identify risks, inform decisions, and measure impact. /li /ul h3Deliver talent and capability priorities /h3 ul liLead talent reviews, succession planning, workforce planning, and differentiated development actions for critical roles and future capabilities. /li liStrengthen internal and external talent pipelines, supporting mobility, talent import and export,



and readiness for key leadership positions. /li liBuild people-leader capability in coaching, feedback, performance management, inclusion, digital fluency, and AI-enabled ways of working. /li /ul h3Lead organisational effectiveness and performance /h3 ul liLead organisational reviews, restructuring, role design, spans and layers, and workforce transitions in line with business needs and Italian requirements. /li liDrive a culture of accountability and sustained performance, equipping leaders to address performance and role-fit issues consistently and fairly. /li liGuide change and transformation programmes from design through implementation, balancing competitiveness, employee experience, compliance, and business continuity. /li /ul h3Shape culture, engagement, and leadership /h3 ul liPartner with leaders to build an inclusive, high-performing culture grounded in the Credo, direct conversations, ownership, and collaboration. /li liUse employee listening, engagement insights, and AI-supported analysis to define targeted actions and monitor progress. /li liCreate forums and interventions that strengthen the people-leader community, leadership effectiveness, and connection across the Italian organisation. /li /ul h3Lead employee relations and work across OneHR /h3 ul liProvide leadership on employee and labour relations, including works council and trade-union engagement, disciplinary matters, workforce changes, and sensitive employee cases. /li liEnsure HR decisions and processes comply with Italian labour law, collective agreements, corporate policies, and ethical standards, working closely with Legal and Employee Relations. /li liPartner with EMEA HR, Centres of Excellence, Global Services, and OneHR Italy to deliver integrated solutions, simplify the employee experience, and improve HR processes through digitisation and intelligent automation. /li /ul h3Kay Experience Requirements /h3 ul li8+ years experience as HR Business Partner or HR leadership experience in a complex, matrixed, and regulated organisation; pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life-sciences experience with local Italian market knowledge specifics. /li liProven ability to partner with senior business leaders and translate strategy into practical talent, organisation, culture, and workforce actions. /li liStrong knowledge of Italian employment legislation, employee and labour relations, collective bargaining,



and the management of organisational change. /li liProficient English and Italian language capabilities. /li liDemonstrated experience leading talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, performance management, and transformation initiatives end-to-end. /li liCommercial and financial acumen, with the confidence to use workforce analytics and insights to challenge and support business decisions. /li liExperience leveraging digital tools and AI, for example analytics, automation, or decision support, to improve HR outcomes and employee experience. /li liStrong stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and communication skills, including in sensitive or high-impact situations. /li liA pragmatic, hands-on approach with strong execution discipline and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. /li liFluency in Italian and English. /li /ul h3What Sets You Apart /h3 ul liYou balance strategic thinking with strong execution. /li liYou are comfortable challenging and supporting leaders in equal measure. /li liYou take ownership and follow through to delivery. /li liYou work collaboratively and build effective relationships across teams. /li liYou are curious about AI and technology, and actively apply it to improve HR impact and efficiency. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 h3Preferred Skills: /h3 pChange Management, Coaching, Consulting, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Employee Retention, HR Business Partnership, HR Strategic Management, Human Resources Consulting, Human Resources Law, Interpersonal Influence, Organizational Change Management, Problem Solving, Process Improvements, Talent Management, Technical Credibility /p h3The Anticipated Base Pay Range For This Position Is /h3 p€56,100.00 - €96,945.00 /p h3Benefits /h3 pIn addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees' and companies' performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
