If you want real responsibility, real support, and real projects (not “graduate busywork”), keep reading. /p h3What You’ll Actually Do /h3 pYou’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering a major data centre project. In practice, that means you’ll get involved in: /p ul liDesigning and drafting civil, structural and architectural elements using CAD/Revit/BIM tools /li liHelping produce drawings, specifications and documentation /li liParticipating in structural calculations and basic engineering analysis (don’t panic — you’ll get help) /li liReviewing designs for compliance with Eurocodes and project requirements /li liVisiting site, taking notes, spotting issues and learning how things actually get built /li liCoordinating with mechanical and electrical colleagues so the whole design fits together /li liSupporting planning, scheduling and tracking of deliverables /li liSitting in stakeholder and contractor meetings and following up on actions /li liHelping uphold safety, environmental and quality standards — the non‑negotiables on every Kirby project /li /ul pIn other words, you’ll be learning the ropes properly, not watching from the sidelines. /p h3What You’ll Need /h3 ul liA degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering (or something closely related)
