He/She also supports day by day requests from manufacturing and service. /p /brh3What kind of work will you be doing? /h3 /brul /brliWork in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on global products focusing on high performance, cost effective design and market leading innovation. /li /brliDesigning of the product electrical features, taking direct responsibility of the dimensioning of the principal parts or assemblies; /li /brliTo create and review product documentation (drawings, specifications, bills of material). /li /brliCreate design solutions for special products, cooperating to the costing process. /li /brliCooperate with Controls Engineering in the creation of controls connection guides. /li /brliCo-design activity with external suppliers and other colleagues located in different regions. /li /brliAnalyze and resolve technical issues about products of his/her competence. /li /brliTo meet objectives of cost, quality,



environment and time of execution, achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs. /li /brliTo analyze and resolve technical problems as regards products under his/her responsibility. /li /brliAvailability to travel when needed between the Italian HQ (base) and a production facility in Slovakia. /li /brliElectrical CAD skills combined with a good attention to details. /li /brliExperience of EMC and low voltage regulations (e.g. CE). /li /brliCompetence in international electrical regulations and standards (e.g. UL, CSA, MD, and IEEE). /li /br /ul /brh3What will make you successful? /h3 /brul /brliTechnical Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. /li /brliAt least 3 years of previous working experience on similar activities, ideally in the HVAC sector. /li /brliExcellent knowledge of Electrical CAD systems and Microsoft Office tools. /li /brliGood knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles are desirable but not essential. /li /brliEnglish – Intermediate level – Written and spoken. /li /brliAttitude to work in a multinational and dynamic environment. /li /brliKnow-how of air conditioning/refrigeration products is a plus. /li /brliCompetences: result-oriented, team player, careful to details, flexible, well organized and pro-active /li /br /ul /brpThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.

Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits.
