Hydromill Operator Mission:

Perform excavation activities using hydromill equipment, operating complex machinery in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with company procedures, project specifications, and required quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the assigned equipment efficiently to minimize wear, downtime, and ensure required productivity.

• Ensure compliance with project technical specifications and requirements.

• Assess and mitigate risks related to equipment operation on site.

• Report any QHSE violations to the supervisor.

• Ensure safe operation and productivity of the machine.

• Prepare daily productivity reports.

• Manage and maintain assigned equipment.

• Support the supervisor in departmental activities.

Key Skills





• Knowledge of onboard instrumentation and ability to verify excavation parameters.

• Understanding of Method Statements, project quality standards, and quality control documentation.

• Ability to assess drilling slurry quality and request corrective actions when required.

• Competence in equipment positioning, alignment, and stabilization.

• Ability to select appropriate pressures, thrust, torque, cutter wheel rotation speed, and penetration rate.

• Ability to monitor verticality and implement corrective actions.

• Capability to perform routine maintenance and maintain maintenance records.
