pThe Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing and controlling the financial activities of the company's portfolio of subsidiaries. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in controlling within the logistics industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead and develop a finance team. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3h3Financial Reporting and Analysis /h3ulliOversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for a portfolio of subsidiaries. /liliEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. /liliConduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. /li /ulh3Budgeting and Forecasting /h3ulliLead the annual budgeting process for a portfolio of subsidiaries. /liliPrepare and review forecasts and variance analyses. /liliMonitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed. /li /ulh3Financial Controls and Compliance /h3ulliDevelop and maintain a robust internal control environment. /liliEnsure compliance with local, national, and international financial regulations. /liliConduct regular audits and implement recommendations for improvement. /liliLiaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
/li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or CPA/CFA is preferred. /liliProven experience as a Controller or similar finance role, ideally within the logistics or project logistics industry. /liliIn-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices. /liliExperience in managing financial consolidations and working with multiple multicultural environments. /li /ulh3Skills and Competencies /h3ulliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliGood communication and interpersonal abilities. /liliProficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel. /liliHigh attention to detail and organizational skills. /liliAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. /li /ulh3Experience /h3ulliMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a controlling role. /liliExperience in the logistics or project logistics industry is highly desirable. /liliProven track record of implementing financial controls and improving financial performance. /li /ulh3Additional Requirements /h3ulliWillingness to travel to subsidiary locations as needed. /liliEnglish language mandatory, French language is a plus. /li /ulh3Location /h3pMilan (east zone) /ppFinancial Controller - International Freight Forwarding Varese, Italy /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
