Driven by technological innovation as “One Company”, our b30,000 people /b from over b130 nationalities /b in more than 50 countries work every day to enable the energy transition toward Net Zero. bAt Saipem, your expertise helps shape the future globally for environmental sustainability. /b /p pAs bCivil Works Engineer /b, you will respond to the Operational Leader and to the Head of Department and be part of the bEnergy Carriers Business line /b within the upstream and downstream project as well as green technology plant. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the Team/Discipline Leader in ensuring the correct application and continuous update of company and discipline standards, procedures, and work instructions. /li liReview tender documentation, identify technical queries, deviations and alternative solutions, prepare BOQs/MTOs, engineering manhour estimates, cost evaluations and support technical bid evaluations. /li liDevelop civil and structural engineering designs and specifications, including foundations, concrete structures, piling works, roads, underground networks, drainage, sewage and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with project quality and contractual requirements. /li liPrepare technical documentation for procurement and subcontracting activities, including material requisitions, technical annexes and technical evaluations, while providing technical support to Project, Procurement and Construction functions. /li liEnsure quality review of project and vendor documentation, manage technical interfaces with Clients,



and provide field engineering support during project execution and site activities. /li /ul h3What are we looking for? /h3 ul liEducation: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Master Degree in Hydraulics or Risk Mitigation or Structural would be a plus. /li liExperience: Minimum 3 years (preferable 5 years) of experience in Energy industry. /li liLanguages: Proficient in English B2. /li liTechnical Skills: ul liProficiency in coordinating structural 3D modeling and drawing extraction, ensuring consistency with structural calculations, as well as preparing detailed BOQs and maintaining accurate MTOs for quantity control and cost monitoring. /li liSolid experience in preparing technical specifications for civil works, supporting bid technical evaluations, material requisitions, review of Subcontractor drawings and follow-up of site activities. /li liStrong technical coordination skills in managing interfaces with other engineering disciplines, subcontractors, clients, vendors, procurement, construction, and field engineering, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, schedules, budgets, and quality standards. /li /ul /li liIT Skills: ul liAdvanced familiarity with the Microsoft Office package. /li liAdvanced knowledge of software and tools for modelling (TEKLA Structures) for concrete works /li liAdvanced knowledge of software and tools for drainage design (Autodesk SSA or equivalent)



/li liAdvanced knowledge of software and tools for 3D model coordination (Naviswork, ACC/FORMA) /li liAdvanced proficiency in CAD and structural engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, BRICS Cad, Microstation) /li /ul /li /ul pWhat else should you know?
