pbLogistics Supervisor | Data Centre Construction | Milan (Site Based) /b /ppbr/ppWe're working with a market leading contractor who are seeking a bLogistics Supervisor /b to join their team on Hyperscale Data Center project in Milan.
/ppThis isn't just about organising storage space (though you'll do plenty of that).
It's about being the nerve centre of site movement materials, deliveries, vertical transport, access, security, the whole lot.
If you enjoy orchestrating a site so well that people think you've got psychic powers, you'll fit right in.
/ppbr/ppbResponsibilities: /b /pulliMapping, defining, and controlling all on?site and near?site storage areas.
/liliDeciding who gets what storage space, based on project priorities — not who shouts the loudest.
/liliRunning the web?based delivery booking system like a small but efficient airport.
/liliMaking sure deliveries only happen when there's somewhere to put the stuff.
/liliWorking closely with subcontractors and security so deliveries arrive when they should, not when they feel like it.
/liliCreating and enforcing a call?off system that keeps everything flowing and doesn't block access routes.
/liliKeeping track of vertical transportation plant capacity so cranes and hoists don't sit idle while materials sit in the wrong place.
/liliHelping run the weekly delivery coordination meeting and owning every action item that comes out of it.
/liliActing as the link between security at the perimeter and the controlled chaos inside the hoarding line.
/liliCoordinating with the Appointed Person/Crane Coordinator to keep lifts smooth and efficient.
/liliHandling accommodation and vehicle requirements for site employees leases, trackers, troubleshooting, the works.
/li /ulpbr/ppbIn short: You'll be the person who knows what's coming, when it's coming, how it's getting in, where it's going, who's moving it, and what happens next.
/b /p pbr/ppbWhat You'll Need to Bring /b /pulliExperience managing logistics on a live construction site (data centre experience a premio).
/liliA tolerance for complexity — and an intolerance for disorganisation.
/liliStrong communication skills (some might call this "telling people no" politely).
/liliThe ability to think three steps ahead because everything on this site affects everything else.
/liliA mindset that treats logistics as the circulatory system of a project not an afterthought.
/li /ulpbr/ppbWhat You'll Get /b /pulliThe chance to run logistics for a flagship hyperscale data centre in one of Europe's most dynamic tech hubs.
/liliA team that actually understands why logistics matters.
/liliA project leadership group that wants someone who runs a system, not someone who waits for instructions.
/liliAnd yes, competitive salary, accommodation support, and the usual big?project benefits.
